Patrick Hylton, A.C.I.B., B.B.A. C.D.
Group Managing Director |
Patrick Hylton first received local and international acclaim when he was appointed a leading role by the Government in the rehabilitation of the Jamaican financial sector during the mid 1990s. The wealth of his experience in all facets of the financial services industry led to him being named the Managing Director of FINSAC for five (5) years, where he had responsibility for the re-structuring and divestment of intervened financial institutions and the acquired assets. His successful completion of that undertaking culminated in the national award of the Order of Distinction, Commander Class, being bestowed on him by the Prime Minister and Governor General of Jamaica in 2002.
In 2002 he joined the island’s largest commercial bank, National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited (NCB), as the Deputy Group Managing Director, where his responsibilities included the Bank’s investment and insurance subsidiaries. On December 1, 2004 Mr. Hylton was appointed the Group Managing Director of NCB and since then he has led the organization to achieve record growth in profitability.
Complementing his strategic business acumen and an empathetic but firm leadership style, are his academic achievements as an Honours Graduate in Business Administration and as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) London. He is the President of the Jamaica Bankers Association and in addition to being a Director of NCB, Mr. Hylton is the Chairman of Harmonisation Limited and sits on several boards including the Caribbean Information and Credit Rating Services (CariCRIS).

Dennis G. Cohen, F.C.A., F.C.C.A., B.Sc.

Dennis Cohen is Deputy Group Managing Director, National Commercial Bank (NCB) Jamaica Limited and is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ).
Mr. Cohen joined NCB in 2004 as Group Chief Financial Officer after a decade of experience gained at Citibank N.A. Jamaica, including serving as Country Treasurer for the local branch and its affiliates. He also served as head of Citibank’s Relationship Management Group. Prior to commencing his career in Banking, Mr. Cohen was employed to Price WaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Accountant.
As Deputy Group Managing Director, Mr. Cohen is charged with oversight of a number of the Bank’s Business Segments including retail, corporate and treasury, as well as the electronic banking and merchant sales business. His portfolio was expanded effective February 1, 2010, when he assumed oversight over NCB subsidiary and the largest stock brokerage in Jamaica, NCB Capital Markets Ltd. as CEO.
Mr. Cohen was appointed by the Minister of Finance as a member of Jamaica’s Public Accountancy Board and serves as a resource person for accounting issues relating to the
Financial sector. He has served on a number of the Jamaica Banker’s Association committees and was a Council Member of the Jamaica Securities Dealers Association.
He is a Director of NCB (Cayman) Limited, National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited, NCB Capital Markets Limited, NCB Insurance Company Limited and West Indies Trust Company Limited. He is the Chairman for Mutual Security Insurance Brokers Limited.

Rickert Allen, FCIPD, M.Sc. dist, B.A.
Senior General Manager, Group Human Resources Division |
Mr. Rickert Allen is currently the Senior General Manager, Group Human Resources Division. Mr. Allen joined National Commercial Bank (NCB) in January 1, 2002 as Assistant General Manager, HR and was promoted to General Manager and subsequently promoted to his current post. He holds a M.Sc. (Distinction) in Human Resource Development from the University of the West Indies (UWI).
As the Senior General Manager, Group Human Resources his core mandates are the development and direction of strategies for the effective and efficient management of the human capital of the NCB Group in keeping with the organisation's strategic direction, the establishment and maintenance of a Talent Portfolio Framework to facilitate talent acquisition, engagement, development, deployment, rotation and workforce planning and to position the HR function of NCB Group as a strategic driver in order to create a work environment conducive to high levels of employee productivity, engagement and customer service excellence. He also has overall responsibility for the Facilities and Services Division of the Group and is a member of the Compensation Committee of NCB Insurance Company Limited and NCB Capital Markets Limited.
Rickert Allen is a leader in the field with decades of experience gained in the bauxite, alumina and financial services industries. He possesses a proven track record in organizational diagnostics and design, workforce analytics and planning, change management, industrial relations and occupational safety and health administration.
He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and 2nd Vice President of the Jamaica Employers Federation (JEF). He serves on the board of HEART Institute of the Caribbean and is a member of the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ) Education Committee and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Human Capital Institute (HCI) and the UWI Mentorship Programme.

Septimus "Bob" Blake
General Manager, Treasury & Correspondent Banking |
Mr. Septimus "Bob" Blake joined NCB in March 2002. As General Manager, Treasury & Correspondent Banking Division since 2004, he provides overall direction and management of the interest rate risk management, liquidity management, investment portfolio management, currency management, financial institutions relationship management functions and Foreign Exchange trading for the Bank. He is also responsible for the management of local financial institution and correspondent banking relationships.
Mr. Blake joined NCB as Manager, Asset Trading, charged with responsibility for the management of the Bank's investment portfolio and was subsequently promoted to Assistant General Manager in February 2003 with responsibility for the tactical management of interest rate, liquidity and foreign exchange risk.
He has over a decade of experience in the financial services industry, and has received professional training in asset/liability & risk management both locally and overseas.
Mr. Blake is a member of the N.C.B. Foundation, serves on NCB's- Assets & Liabilities Committee - (ALCO), NCB Capital Markets Limited - Investment Management Committee and NCB Insurance Company Ltd - Investment Management Committee. He also serves as director on the boards of NCB Remittance Services (Jamaica) Limited, NCB Remittance Services (UK) Limited and NCB Capital Markets Limited.

Audrey Tugwell Henry
Senior General Manager, Retail Banking Division |
Mrs. Audrey Tugwell Henry joined NCB on June 2, 2008 and is responsible for providing strategic leadership to the Retail Banking Sector as the Senior General Manager of the Retail Banking Division. She will be required to implement initiatives that will allow the business to achieve its targeted growth and profitability as well as evaluate the market trends and needs both locally and internationally in order to develop a wide array of banking solutions to meet consumer needs.
A former General Manager in Retail and Electronic Banking at the Bank of Nova Scotia Jamaica Limited, Mrs. Tugwell Henry possesses a wealth of experience in the financial services industry. She is a graduate of the University of the West Indies with a Masters of Business Administration in General Management.
Mrs. Tugwell Henry serves on the boards of NCB Remittance Services (U.K.) Ltd., NCB Insurance Company Ltd. and J.E.T.S. Ltd.

Major French Campbell has held the post of Senior Assistant General Manager, Facilities & Services Division (formerly Projects, Administration & Services) since April 2004. In his capacity, he is charged with the management of all facilities, which includes all construction projects, the acquisition and disposal of buildings, lands and equipment; the ongoing maintenance of all buildings and equipment that support the business and mechanical and electrical systems. He also oversees the security, safety, environmental and centralized purchasing portfolios for the Group.
Major Campbell's career in the private sector spans over almost two decades, some of which ran concurrently with a nineteen year career in the Jamaica Defense Force where he served as an Officer in various engineering & management posts. A Mechanical Engineer by training, Major Campbell worked with the Jamaica Public Service Company in the capacity of Station Manager, and at the Jamaica Private Power Company as Production Manager before his appointment at the EAL/ERI Cogeneration LP power company as General Manager in 2003.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the Royal Military College of Science, Cranfield in the United Kingdom and an Executive MBA from the University of the West Indies.

As Group Chief Financial Officer, Mrs. Yvonne Clarke is responsible for Financial Reporting, Taxation and Regulatory Reporting for National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited and its subsidiaries. She is also responsible for monitoring the performance of the organization against strategy and budget and ensuring that strategic and operational objectives are achieved in the most effective and efficient manner.
Mrs. Clarke is a member of the Board of Directors of NCB Capital Markets Limited, NCB Insurance Company Limited, NCB Remittance Services (Jamaica) Limited, NCB Remittance Services (UK) Limited and NCB Foundation and is Chair of Data-Cap Processing Limited and NCB Nominees Limited.
She is a member of the Accounting Standards Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica.
Mrs. Clarke joined NCB in August 2000. Prior to her appointment as Group Chief Financial Officer on 1 December 2005, she was the Group Chief Internal Auditor, a post she held from October 2001. She began her accounting career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where, for eighteen years, she gained experience in a variety of industries. She left PwC in 2000 to take up her appointment at NCB.

Senior Assistant General Manager, Marketing, Communications and Service Delivery Division |
 Mrs. Sheree Martin is Senior Assistant General Manager, Marketing, Communications and Service Delivery Division reporting directly to the Group Managing Director. Mrs. Martin is charged with oversight of all marketing, communications, service delivery and corporate philanthropic policies and functions of the Group. She directs the effective positioning of the Group corporate image, suite of products and the implementation of Group service excellence standards throughout the enterprise.
Prior to her appointment, Mrs. Martin served in the Retail Banking Division as Manager, Customer Service & Marketing (2003) and Manager, Personal Banking (2001). This was bolstered by her tenure as a Management Trainee where she gained invaluable experience in all areas of commercial banking and credit, followed by assignments in various supervisory and management roles.
She holds an MBA in Banking & Finance (with Distinction), and a BA in Language & Literature from the University of the West Indies.
Mrs. Martin is the CEO of the NCB Foundation. She is also a Director of RISE Life Management Services - a non-profit organization, a Director of the National Crime Prevention Fund "Crime Stop" and Treasurer of the Alpha Academy Alumnae Association.

Marjorie Seeberan, B.Sc., M.B.A.
General Manager, Corporate Banking |
Mrs. Marjorie Seeberan joined the National Commercial Bank as General Manager, Corporate Banking Division in 2002. She provides overall management for the Division which serves over 200 groups of companies, institutions and government agencies as lender and preferred arranger and underwriter of structured financings. Core activities include lending, deal origination, structuring, negotiation and execution of large transactions to serve customers' financing needs. Core responsibilities also include the recruitment and development of a small group of experienced, dedicated professionals who deliver NCB's high-end products and services to the Nation's Blue-Chip customers.
Prior to her appointment at NCB, Mrs. Seeberan was Senior Vice President of Corporate Banking and Corporate Finance with JP Morgan Chase and an Executive Director of the University of the West Indies' (UWI) Business Development Office.
Mrs. Seeberan serves on the Board of the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce (JCC) and on the Ministry of Education's Expert Team on Education. She is a member of N.C.B. Foundation, NCB Jamaica Limited, Assets & Liabilities Committee (ALCO), Women's Leadership Initiative (WLI) and American Foundation of the University of the West Indies (UFUWI).
Mrs. Seeberan holds a B.Sc. in Economics and an MBA in Finance from New York University.

Allison Wynter J.P., C.F.A., F.C.C.A., M.B.A., M.Sc., B.A.
General Manager - Credit and Risk Management |
Ms. Allison Wynter has responsibility for the identification, assessment, measurement, monitoring and shared-management of the principal risks faced by the NCB Group with particular emphasis on Credit risk and market risk.
She has been employed to the Bank since 2002.
Prior to joining NCB, she held the position of Risk Manager at Jamaica Money Market Brokers Limited, a local Securities Dealer. Prior to commencing her financial services career, Ms Wynter was employed to PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the post of Senior Audit Manager.
She is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst, who also holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Manchester, a Masters in Accounts and Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree from the University Of The West Indies.
Ms. Wynter is a member of the Bank’s Credit Committee, Group ALCO and ALCO (Asset & Liability) Committees and serves on the Investment Committee of NCB Insurance Company Limited and the Risk Management committees of NCB Capital Markets Limited and NCB Cayman Limited. She is also a trustee of the NCB Staff Superannuation Fund (1999).
She is a member of the Accounting Standards Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica.

Dave Garcia LL.M, LL.B (Hons.)
General Manager - Legal, AML & and Corporate Compliance Division |
Mr Garcia is responsible for providing the Bank and its subsidiaries with general advice, leadership and direction on all legal, regulatory, compliance and corporate secretarial matters. He is charged with overseeing the operations of the Organization’s Legal, AML & and Corporate Compliance Division and guiding the Group’s legal strategy in its drive towards becoming the most dominant financial institution in the region. His role also encompasses interaction and communication with external counsel acting on behalf of the NCB enterprise.
A former partner at Myers, Fletcher & Gordon (MF&G), Mr Garcia possesses a wealth of experience in civil litigation with an emphasis on banking, employment and industrial relations, corporate and commercial matters. He is Chairman of Youth Reaching Youth, a charitable organization and Co-Chairperson of the Jamaica Bankers Association’s Compliance Committee. He is also a member of the Jamaica Bar Association’s Commercial Law Committee, and has previously served as its Convenor.
He became an attorney-at-law in 1997 and is a graduate of the Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, having obtained a Master of Laws Degree for studies in Corporate Law. Before that, he was awarded a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of the West Indies and a Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School.
Mr Garcia has been the recipient of several scholarships and awards, including the Jamaica Scholarship and the Carreras Post-Graduate Scholarship. He continues to contribute to the development of legal education in Jamaica, primarily as a Course Director at the Norman Manley Law School.

Howard Gordon
Senior General Manager - Group Operations and Technology Division |
Mr. Howard Gordon joined NCB on January 1, 2009 as General Manager Network Operations, charged with reengineering the operating processes and practices to support the group's customer service strategies, implementing initiatives to promote operational efficiency across the NCB group and leading the creation of an operations environment consistent with international banking practices to support the group's risk, sales and service strategies. In February 2010 Mr. Gordon was given oversight of the Group’s Information Technology Division (IT) in conjunction with his role as Head of Network Operations.
In this role as Senior General Manager, Group Operations and Technology Division, Mr. Gordon’s mandate has been expanded to include direct responsibility for the vision, strategy, direction, planning and architecture of all information technology activities within the NCB Banking Group. He will drive the formulation of the technology direction of the IT Division within the context of the strategic objectives of the Group while ensuring the effective management, efficient functioning and satisfactory availability of the Organization’s IT resources. He will leverage expertise within the IT and Network Operations framework to improve overall efficiency and realize significant cost containment for the NCB Group.
Mr. Gordon possesses a wealth of experience in auditing, risk management, operational management, business process re-engineering and productivity management as well as a working knowledge of information systems. He is a graduate of the Manchester School of Business at the University of Manchester where he earned his MBA, he holds a first class honours degree in Business Administration from the University of Technology (Jamaica) and he is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) London.
Mr. Gordon boasts twenty-eight years of experience in the financial sector which include senior management positions at RBTT, Citizens Bank and Union Bank of Jamaica Limited.

Mukisa Wilson Ricketts

Mrs. Mukisa Wilson Ricketts joined National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited (NCB) in January 2008. She provides strategic direction and oversight of the internal activities of the NCB Group. Her role facilitates transparency of the Bank's operations through independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of internal control.
With 14 years of internal and external audit experience to her credit, Mrs. Wilson Ricketts is a seasoned auditor. She is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) with The Institute of Internal Auditors, USA, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), UK, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (FCA).
Prior to joining NCB, Mrs. Wilson Ricketts held the post of Senior Audit Manager at The Bank of Nova Scotia Jamaica Limited. She began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where she held the position of Senior Accountant at the time of her departure.

Ann-Marie Hamilton

Ms. Ann-Marie Hamilton was appointed General Manager of NCB Insurance Company Limited (NCBIC) on July 22, 2008. She provides leadership to her management team in her mandate to strengthen P&L and Balance Sheet performance through strategic initiatives designed to generate improved revenue performance and establish a foundation for sustainable revenue. Ms. Hamilton is also charged to improve sales team productivity and operational efficiency and enhance the company's suite of products in alignment with the Group's strategic direction.
Ms. Hamilton has extensive experience in operations management, process re-engineering, product development, portfolio analysis, systems development and IT. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies and is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute where she specialized in Management Science.
Prior to her appointment to her current post, Ms. Hamilton was Vice President (VP) of Operations & Service Management and VP, Operations & Development at NCBIC and held Senior Management positions at Crown Eagle Life Insurance Company (CEL) and Bank of Nova Scotia.
Ms. Hamilton joined NCB in October 2002.
