NCB joins Haiti relief effort

Fellow Jamaicans,

The people of our fair island are digging deep into their hearts and wallets as our Haitian brethren experience yet another national crisis. Due to the impact of the 7.0 earthquake and the ensuing aftershocks that rocked the island on January 12, our Caribbean neighbours are in a state of emergency.

In true Jamaican fashion, the island has been abuzz with rapid action to assist in their plight. NCB is proud to advise our customers and fellow Jamaicans that we will do our part to aid in this effort in the following manner:

  • Cash donations can be made at any NCB branch islandwide to the following accounts –
    • The United Way Disaster Fund # 061048596
    • Food For The Poor # 471043885
    • ODPEM # 212387304
  • Donations of kind (canned/non-perishable food, clean clothes, linens, bottled water, toiletries, etc) can be dropped off at any NCB branch islandwide.
  • We will then coordinate pick up with some or all of the following non-profit organizations at intervals based on their schedule of delivery to Haiti – Food For The Poor, Salvation Army, Jamaica Defense Force, to name a few.

At this time we appeal to all Jamaicans to give what they can and encourage others to do the same. No contribution is too small.

NCB is proud to join the relief effort for the Haiti disaster and we thank you in advance for giving so generously of yourselves.
