Trouble using Internet Banking?

Internet Banking From time to time some persons may experience trouble using our Internet Banking service. Because every machine is different, we are not able to diagnose the cause of every possible difficulty, but we can offer a few solutions to common problems we have seen.

  1. Ensure you are using a modern browser. Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or higher or Firefox 2.0 or higher are recommended.
  2. Your machine should be protected by good antivirus and antispyware programs. Malicious software is often undetected on users machines and can make browsing the internet slow.
  3. Check the speed of your internet connection. We recommend a DSL/broadband connection of 1Mbps or higher. Users on dialup connections will experience less than optimal performance.
  4. Ensure you have the Java Virtual Machine installed. Some machines come with this installed, some don't. Our Internet Banking system will be slow if this is not installed.
  5. Using Vista, Microsoft Internet Explorer and McAfee? We're aware of some problems that users with this combination are experiencing. We're not sure what causes this issue, but we are investigating. In the meantime, Vista users with McAfee installed can use Firefox to get around this issue.
Please remember to call our Customer Care Center with any issues you may have with our Internet Banking service.
